Continuing the story of Akari-chan, we discover that Akari died one christmas eve, waiting for santa to show up at her house. Why? Because her father and some people at school had told her that santa doesn't exist. She, being the little girl she is, wants to prove everyone wrong. When her father got to her, he was too late. He's blamed himself for that night ever since.
Maya learns of this and decides to have a Christmas Party in her honour, in which Bunmei shows up as santa clause, the man she's been waiting for for so long. As Bunmei is dressing up outside however, he gets his costume stolen. The next person to walk in to the party was not Bunmei, but Akari's father dressed up as santa clause. Akari, finally feeling fulfilled, is then able to rest in peace.
Maya then remembers that before the Occult Academy was built, she had made a wish for a huge school of monsters and aliens. Her father had of course built the Occult Academy from her single wish, and Maya only realizes that now, and feel sad for always just hating him when she meant so much to him that he built a whole school for her. From that moment onwards, Maya vows to find the Key, and the people who killed her father.
From what I can see in the preview, and based on how the episode ended with Maya's vow, this is hopefully the last of the unrelated episodes of Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin.
