Fairy Tail Episode 46

Erza's newly revealed armour: The Thunder Empress Armour! More about that in a moment. We start off with Natsu and Erza running around the town looking for Laxus. Laxus is hiding in the Cathedral, and begins to remember back to when Makarov expelled Ivan, Laxus's father, from Fairy Tail.

Soon after, Mystogan walks in. Laxus and Mystogan face off! Mystogan uses the Tower of Babel spell, which causes Laxus to fall into a big illusion. He breaks free from that, only it's too late, Mystogan has set up a Five Circle spell around Laxus. Mystogan however, hadn't noticed that Laxus had set a spell up too. After the smoke clears from the explosion, Natsu and Erza run in. Mystogan, slightly shocked at Erza's sudden appearance, drops his guard and Laxus blasts his face to reveal... none other than Jellal. Mystogan then leaves abruptly, leaving Laxus to Erza.

Natsu, of course, wants his shot at Laxus. Coincidentally for him, Laxus blasts Erza and she falls to the ground. After a bit of holding hands and punching each other's faces, Erza steps back in. She equips the DarkWing armour and strikes Laxus. Then after, she changes to the Thunder Empress Armour. This armour, much like her Flame Empress Armour, it resistant to Lightning, and after a while, we can see that is it relatively effective on Laxus. Erza however, realizing that the Thunder Palace was about to activate soon, leaves Laxus to Natsu and moves out to destroy the Thunder Palace. Although destroying the Thunder Palace Lacrima will deal equal damage to you, Erza is willing to destroy the countless Lacrima of the Thunder Palace to protect the city. She equips her Heaven's Wheel Armour and uses all her magical energy to summon swords to attack the Lacrima. She asks for all of Fairy Tail to lend her energy to summon enough swords.

The episode ends with Natsu and Laxus getting serious.
